Parent and Toddler Yoga
£8 block bookings
£9 single session
Wednesdays 09:30-10:15
St Thomas Parish Hall, Church Road, Exeter EX2 9AX

This relaxed and informal class provides an opportunity for you to reconnect with your body and your breath whilst embracing the chaos that inevitably comes when small children are involved. Children are free to play / join in / cuddle / snack / whatever and we will work around it, adapting the class to what is happening in the room and what you need on the day!

Your first session is available as drop-in and thereafter paid for as a block, to ensure that the class is sustainable. Joining part way through the block is possible providing spaces are available.

The venue has plenty of free parking and is also close to bus stops on Cowick Street and to Exeter St Thomas station.

The Circle - a space for Mothers
First Friday of the Month, 10.30-11.30
LoveFood CIC @the Food Hub, 95 Cowick Street, EX4 1JF
£9 per session

This is not a Yoga class! It is a monthly talking group open to Mothers and non-binary parents at any stage of your mothering journey, whether you are new to motherhood or your children are grown. A space to connect, to share, to challenge and to release. Each circle will have a seasonal theme which will be used to guide our session; with opportunities to share, to challenge ourselves, support each other or just to be in this non-judgemental space.

I have trained to facilitate mother’s circles as a Rewilding Motherhood Facilitator with Courage & Chamomile - as a leader, coach and peer supporter and am looking forward to be holding in-person circles in my local community. I see such a need for safe supported spaces for women and especially mothers to come together, to connect and to be heard.

Babies and Toddlers welcome. There will be space for them to play and a selection of toys available.

Yoga Sutra Study Group
Mondays 20:45-21:30
Venue tbc

Are you a Yoga practitioner curious about the teachings and the psychology that underpin this discipline? Have you ever asked what Yoga actually IS rather than just what type of Yoga do you do? Or are you a Yoga teacher who would like to revisit this essential text, to compare notes and share ideas?

The Yoga Sutra was written in around 200CE and consists of 195 densely packed verses which need careful unpicking in order to communicate their meaning. It is both a teaching on the nature of being and a manual on how to work with the mind in order to reduce fear, dissatisfaction and suffering.

In this weekly group we will work through key ideas and verses from the text, with the focus on the first chapter in this first term. Please contact me if you are interested in joining this group.

Yoga in the Workplace

Introduce Yoga into your Employee wellbeing programme - you provide the space and time and I bring everything else. Create space for people to move, to breathe, to stretch, to unwind; whether for regular sessions or one-off events. Times and durations of sessions are designed to suit your workplace. Contact me to discuss how Yoga can support the people at the heart of your business.
